Students Win Cash for Essays

Two Coppell Classical Middle School students were honored earlier this semester with scholarships. Tamia Holman and Anna Head, both sixth graders, received a scholarship award. They entered their compositions to the Grapevine VFW Post 10454 writing contest on “Why America Is So Great. “ Each student received a cash prize of $100 for their essays. Congratulations to both students.

Cultural Dress Day at Coppell Classical Academy

Celebrating the Opening Ceremonies of the Winter Olympics

To celebrate and help students get a sense for this world unifying event of the Winter Olympics and to show tremendous example of so many character traits and life habits such as excellence, perseverance, self-control, and beginning with the end in mind, we recently hosted a Cultural Dress Day All students were invited to wear cultural clothing from their family's country of origin.

The Olympics are an international, multi-sport event and a wonderful celebration of culture. It is known not only for people of astute physical skills in specific sports but for the unity it brings as people from around the globe gather together.

MS Boys Basketball Team

This was the first year for Coppell Classical Academy to host a boys basketball team. Coach Walker headed up the program.
